The Artisan
My name is Stefan Kortezov, and creating with my hands has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I’ve worked on countless artistic projects — from handmade jewelry and decorative pieces to all kinds of creative experiments that allowed me to explore different materials, techniques, and forms of expression. At one point, I even spent time pyrographing guitars, turning simple instruments into unique, hand-burned artworks filled with texture and character.
For me, creativity was never limited to one craft. I’ve always been drawn to building, shaping, and transforming ordinary materials into something meaningful. Today, I mainly work with copper and metal, materials I’ve grown deeply connected to over time. I’m fascinated by the way cold metal can be shaped into something that feels alive — full of movement, emotion, and personality. Every sculpture I create carries a different mood, inspired by music, nature, the sea, memories, and sometimes simply an idea that refuses to leave my mind until I bring it to life.
I don’t aim for perfection. I’m more interested in creating pieces with soul — sculptures that feel raw, expressive, imperfect, and real. I enjoy textures, asymmetry, and the small details that make every piece unique. For me, art is not just decoration. It’s about atmosphere, emotion, and creating something that makes people pause for a moment, look closer, and discover their own meaning inside it. Every sculpture is entirely handcrafted, shaped patiently over time, and created with genuine passion for the process itself. Welcome to my world of copper, fire, texture, and imagination.
